YMLC 2026 Payment Form

Event: Young Muslims Leadership Conference (YMLC) 2026 Dates: Friday, July 10, 2026 (1:00 PM) – Sunday, July 12, 2026 (3:00 PM)Location: Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel 2200 Centreville Rd, Herndon, VA 20170This Agreement is made between Young Muslims (YM) and the undersigned Participant (or Parent/Guardian if under 18). It applies to participation in the Young Muslims Leadership Conference (YMLC) 2026, including all travel, lodging, meals, workshops, meetings, activities, and conference programming associated with the event.1. Participation & Supervision 1.1 I understand that YMLC is a multi-day leadership conference requiring adherence to all YM schedules, policies, and instructions from conference leadership.1.2 I agree to remain within designated conference areas, hotel premises, and approved conference activities unless permission is granted by YM leadership.1.3 If I choose to leave conference-designated areas or activities, I understand that I do so at my own risk and outside of YM supervision.1.4 YM reserves the right to restrict or remove participation for unsafe, inappropriate, disruptive, or un-Islamic behavior.2. Travel & Transportation 2.1 Participants may travel to YMLC through personal vehicles, flights, buses, carpools, or other transportation methods.2.2 If participating in YM-arranged transportation, including buses or carpools, I understand such transportation is voluntary and at my own risk.2.3 YM is not responsible for incidents, accidents, delays, cancellations, lost baggage, or damages occurring during travel to or from the conference.2.4 All drivers participating in carpools or transportation arrangements must comply with applicable traffic laws and safety regulations.3. Lodging, Meals & Facilities 3.1 Hotel accommodations will be provided through conference registration and assigned by YM leadership.3.2 I agree to respect hotel property, conference spaces, roommates, and all facility rules and policies.3.3 Unauthorized room switching, disruptive behavior, or damage to hotel property may result in removal from the conference and financial liability.3.4 Meals will be provided throughout the conference. I will notify YM leadership of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.3.5 YM will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs but cannot guarantee allergen-free meals and is not responsible for allergic reactions or food-related illness.4. Conference Conduct & Islamic Etiquette 4.1 I agree to conduct myself in accordance with Islamic morals, professionalism, and YM values throughout the conference.4.2 I understand that YMLC is a leadership-focused environment intended for personal growth, tarbiyyah, and organizational development.4.3 I agree to follow the communicated dress code and maintain proper conduct during all conference sessions and activities.4.4 Possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, vape devices, or unprescribed controlled substances is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the conference.5. Activities & Risk 5.1 I understand that YMLC may include recreational activities, workshops, sports, long-distance travel, and extended programming schedules.5.2 I acknowledge that participation in conference activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, fatigue, travel-related incidents, or property loss.5.3 I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event.6. Health & Medical Authorization 6.1 I affirm that I am physically able to participate and have disclosed relevant medical conditions, medications, or allergies.6.2 In the event of emergency, I authorize YM to seek medical care and contact my emergency contact.6.3 YM is not financially responsible for medical treatment, prescriptions, or related expenses.7. Waiver of Liability & Indemnity 7.1 In consideration of participation, I release and hold harmless Young Muslims (YM), its officers, volunteers, affiliates, the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel, transportation providers, and associated facilities from all claims or liabilities arising from participation in YMLC, including injury, illness, death, or property loss, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.7.2 I agree to indemnify and defend YM against any costs or damages resulting from my participation or that of my child.7.3 This waiver applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.8. Binding Arbitration & Governing Law 8.1 Any dispute arising from this Agreement or participation in YMLC will be resolved by final, binding arbitration before a neutral arbitrator.8.2 I waive any right to a lawsuit, jury trial, or class action.9. Acknowledgment of Understanding 9.1 I have carefully read and understand this Agreement and sign it voluntarily.9.2 I understand that by signing, I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.9.3 If the participant is under 18, I affirm that I am the parent/legal guardian with authority to sign on their behalf.
