YM New York East: Six Flags Trip

Event: YM Six Flags Day Trip Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026 Location: Six Flags Theme Park⸻This Agreement is made between Young Muslims (YM) and the undersigned Participant (or Parent/Guardian if under 18). It applies to participation in the YM Six Flags Day Trip, including transportation, admission to the park, rides, attractions, meals, and all related activities.⸻1. Participation & Supervision1.1 I understand that this event is a day trip to Six Flags and requires adherence to all YM rules, schedules, and leadership instructions.1.2 I agree to remain within designated meeting areas and comply with all check-in times established by YM leadership.1.3 If I choose to leave the group or designated meeting locations, I understand that I do so at my own risk and outside of YM supervision.1.4 YM reserves the right to restrict or remove participation for unsafe, inappropriate, disruptive, or un-Islamic behavior.⸻2. Travel & Transportation2.1 Transportation to and from Six Flags will be provided through designated drivers and carpool arrangements coordinated by YM.2.2 I understand that participation in YM-arranged transportation is voluntary and at my own risk.2.3 All drivers must be properly licensed and comply with applicable traffic and safety laws.2.4 Departure and return times are approximate and may change due to traffic, weather, park operations, or other unforeseen circumstances.2.5 YM is not responsible for incidents, accidents, delays, or damages occurring during transportation or outside supervised event areas.⸻3. Park Activities & Conduct3.1 I understand that participation may include amusement rides, walking throughout the park, games, attractions, and other recreational activities.3.2 I agree to comply with all Six Flags policies, ride restrictions, safety requirements, and instructions from park staff and YM leadership.3.3 I agree to conduct myself in accordance with Islamic morals, proper etiquette, and YM values while representing the organization in public.3.4 Possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, vape devices, or unprescribed controlled substances is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the event.⸻4. Meals & Personal Property4.1 Unless otherwise communicated, participants are responsible for purchasing their own meals and personal items within the park.4.2 I will disclose any relevant allergies or medical conditions prior to the event.4.3 YM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.⸻5. Safety & Risk5.1 I understand that participation in amusement park activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, ride-related injuries, weather conditions, transportation incidents, illness, property loss, and other unforeseen hazards.5.2 I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event.⸻6. Health & Medical Authorization6.1 I affirm that I am physically able to participate and have disclosed relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, or activity restrictions.6.2 In the event of an emergency, I authorize YM to seek medical care and contact my emergency contact.6.3 YM is not financially responsible for medical treatment, transportation, prescriptions, or related expenses.⸻7. Waiver of Liability & Indemnity7.1 In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release and hold harmless Young Muslims (YM), its officers, volunteers, affiliates, Six Flags, designated drivers, and associated facilities or staff from all claims or liabilities arising from participation in this event, including injury, illness, death, or property loss, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.7.2 I agree to indemnify and defend YM against any costs or damages resulting from my participation or that of my child.7.3 This waiver applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.⸻8. Binding Arbitration & Governing Law8.1 Any dispute arising from this Agreement or participation in this event will be resolved by final, binding arbitration before a neutral arbitrator in the state where the event takes place.8.2 I waive any right to a lawsuit, jury trial, or class action.8.3 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where the event takes place.⸻9. Acknowledgment of Understanding9.1 I have carefully read and understand this Agreement and sign it voluntarily.9.2 I understand that by signing, I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.9.3 If the participant is under 18, I affirm that I am the parent/legal guardian with authority to sign on their behalf and consent to these terms.⸻
